Boing TV 1/400
Tv 1/400 (Boing Boing) is a collaborative project with Trajectories, Leeds. Each week I teach groups of people the basics of digital photography. To demonstrate the concept of shutter speed I jump off the same wall, and the group photograph me from pretty much the same angle with exactly the same camera settings. As photography evolves the proliferation of images questions the worth of the photograph yet the phenomenology of pressing the shutter and achieving a pre-defined notion of a successful image becomes more and more popular.
